The story of Alice and Trac almost ended before it began, with a date that nearly got canceled. After some light banter on a dating app, the two agreed to a first date: April 8, 2019. That’s a Monday night - the most bailable night of the week. Despite Trac’s travel fatigue and Alice’s exhausting project at the time, the two rallied to have a drink in SoHo. The two hit it off immediately, with drinks turning into dinner, sparkling conversation, and laughter - which Trac assumed was fueled by his endearing charisma but would much later learn was actually Alice’s low alcohol tolerance.

The two continued to have virtual dates over the next month while Alice was visiting home in Sydney, Australia and picked right back up when she returned to New York. Over the next year, they reveled in their shared love of live music where you can sit down, board games that lead to arguments, and finding the best bite.
